Melissa Webb
Hi, I'm Mel and I joined the Baby Sensory team in 2020 when I became the franchise owner of Baby Sensory Inner West Melbourne. My Baby Sensory journey began when I attended a trial class at the start of 2019 and fell in love with the program. I cherished spending each session with my baby girl, creating life long memories, learning activities and songs to take home and socialising with other parents and grandparents. I was amazed how calming the music and environment was in each class and I quickly started singing and signing the “Say Hello to the Sun” song to Anastasia as often as possible - it seemed to be magic! My daughter graduated from Baby Sensory at the end of 2019. I love that you can attend a whole year of classes and never experience the same session twice! Every activity is based on extensive research by Dr Lin Day and designed to promote connections within the brain that help support future physical, social, emotional and intellectual learning. I am a qualified teacher with many years experience working in both primary and secondary schools in Melbourne. I am passionate about learning and the continually growing body of research about brain development. I just love helping more families discover the joy of Baby Sensory.
Sarah O'Farrell
Hi, I'm Sarah and I joined the Baby Sensory team in 2021. I had my first baby in late 2020 and thanks to lockdown I did a lot of baby research and watched a lot of documentaries. One that stuck with me in particular was Michael Mosley's Inside The Human Body. I was fascinated with just how much our babies can learn from the moment they are born and how pivotal their development is in their first year of life. I wanted to give my little girl the opportunity to experience as much as possible which is how we ended up at Mel's Baby Sensory classes in Williamstown. We LOVED them! The way my daughter's little face lit up when we started singing 'Say Hello To The Sun' was just so rewarding. Our classes are fantastic for you and your baby to bond and have fun. The more you put into the class as a parent the more your baby will get out of the experience. I look forward to sharing these moments with you and your baby.
Grace Feeley
Hi, I'm Grace and I joined the Baby Sensory team in 2022. I am originally from the Republic of Ireland and I moved to Australia with my partner in 2010. We have four beautiful children aged between 2 and 9. I had not heard of Baby Sensory when my own children were babies but gosh I wish I had! Since I joined the team at Baby Sensory I have absolutely fallen In love with the classes and the staff. I have learned so much about why it is so important to play with our babies. I practice my classes on my own children and even though they are not babies anymore they still really enjoy the games and songs from Baby Sensory. Babies brains develop faster in their early years than at any other time in their lives so I encourage you to connect, talk and play with your baby. Babies are amazing! Baby Sensory has all the ideas you didn’t know you needed to build and strengthen your relationship with your baby whilst teaching them some important life skills.
Sarah Brookes
Hi, I’m Sarah and I joined the Baby Sensory team in 2023. I am originally from the U.K. and moved here in 2017 with my partner. I have two daughters, Summer who is 9 and Poppy who is 5. I have worked in childcare for over 10 years and babies have always been my passion. I love being part of their growth and development journey, as children’s early years are so important to set them up for life. I love Baby Sensory because it gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to step away from the outside world and spend precious time bonding with their baby. Everything we do at Baby Sensory is based on years of research and each and every activity has a purpose that helps support babies on their learning and development journey.
