Hi, my name is Mel and I am so excited to be able to announce to you all that I am the class leader and owner of Baby Sensory Inner Sydney! When I had given birth to my daughter Olivia, something changed in me, it was like a switch a click or whatever you want to call it.... I became a Mum! From this day I knew I needed a change from my previous career which I was in for 13 years... I had no idea what I wanted to do but, I knew I enjoyed working with people and have a real passion in helping others and making a real difference in their lives. I came across Baby Sensory when Olivia was 9 months old and from here I fell in love with the classes! Watching Olivia grow each and every week was truly amazing to see and learning about her development was incredibly interesting, it is so amazing how much goes on in our babys brains during that first year! But the classes aren't just for our precious babys, they are also for the parents as well.
To create a safe loving and nurturing environment where parents can come together and socialise with one another and build friendships and learn from one another. I knew I had to be apart of this incredible company and bring these classes to many more babies and parents and so in 2021 I purchased the franchise for the Inner Sydney Area and it is honestly been the best career decision I have ever made! I am lucky enough to be one of those people who can say I don't feel like I work a day in my life because I love what I do so much! I am so passionate about giving you and your baby the best experience possible, providing developmental information, having fun with your baby and really creating that community that we so crave as new parents and even exisiting parents as well! If you said to me 2.5 years ago (how old Olivia is now) that I would be working with parents and babies, there is no way I would have believed you but I guess becoming a parent really does change you and I have had so many people come up to me and say that it is like this was what I was meant to be doing! Every day is so much fun and I am so excited to welcome you and your baby to our classes and be apart of your journey during this precious time.

Eleanore Knox
Eleanore is our class leader for our Waterloo location. She is an actress and teacher who has always been passionate about working with children.
She has worked as an au pair in Paris; a nanny specialising in kids on the autism spectrum; a piano accompanist and assistant conductor for a children’s choir; a drama teacher and director for primary and performing arts school students; and a scriptwriting mentor and filmmaking teacher for primary school children. She also developed and taught the drama program at The Fairies (as seen on tv), where she also taught Baby Ballet, and performed and hosted parties in character as Rainbow the Birthday Fairy.
Eleanore is the proud ‘fairy’ godmother and auntie to thirteen little legends.
She loves reading picture books to them, baking with them, and snuggling up to watch/sing along to any Disney/Pixar movie they like!
