Want to know what we have planned for Term 3? We will be heading overseas to France to experience the smells of Provence and the bright lights of Paris, participating in our very own Baby Olympics and walking the plank in our Baby Pirates class (baby pirates = cuteness overload!). We'll be celebrating your baby's very first Book Day (we've already planned our costumes) and sharing an action packed Father's Day Class to mark this special day. And then there's our collaboration with Nickelodeon; our incredible underwater themed Baby Shark Class full of mesmerising lights, gorgeous music and lots of magical moments.
Every week at Baby Sensory is different and each class is packed full of fantastic sights, stimulating sounds, tactile experiences, social and cooperative play and incredible bonding moments for you to share with your baby. In addition, you will have the opportunity to connect with other local families and every week our super-knowledgeable and experienced practitioners will share lots of ideas for age-appropriate play that you can try at home with your baby.
Term 3 starts on Monday 15th July and will run for 10 magical weeks (total cost is $250 which is payable at the time of booking. If you would prefer to pay via a payment plan please email me to arrange this)
When should I join?
Your baby will learn more during their first year than at any other time in their life, so the answer to this FAQ is, 'as soon as you can'. Our classes are designed for babies from birth and so your baby is never too young to join; lots of families start coming to Baby Sensory classes when their babies are just a few weeks old and our classes for babies from birth to six months contain lots of bonding activities, ideas to make tummy time fun and activities to support your baby's visual development.
We also have classes especially for 'older' babies (those aged 7-13 months at the start of term, so 9-15 months by the time term finishes). These classes are generally livelier with lots of opportunities for babies to crawl and explore, enhance their confidence and social skills and develop their fine motor skills.
How do I join a class?
To book a place in a Term 3 class please scroll down the page to our timetable and then click the 'book now' button next to your preferred class.
Term prices differ by location due to terms being of slightly different lengths (Public Holidays and hall availability affect term length). Classes are priced at $25 each and booked as a block. If you are booking mid term the price will automatically adjust to reflect the number of weeks left in the term.
Want to join us for a trial class?
One of the loveliest things about our classes is the warm, friendly atmosphere that is created by the same families coming together each week and so because of this we generally don't offer trials. We know that lots of people really want to trial a class though (we do understand it is a lot of money to outlay something you haven’t experienced first hand) so for the first two weeks of term we will be offering single session bookings in the following classes for babies from 4-13 months:
Dingley on Mondays at 9.45-10.30
Beaumaris on Tuesdays at 13.30-14.15
Chelsea on Wednesdays at 10.15-11.00 and 14.00-14.45

If your preferred class is fully booked please join the waitlist so that we can notify you if a place becomes available. In order for this to happen another family has to leave the class (which does happen occasionally, just not super often) so we strongly recommend joining another class in the meantime so that you don't miss out on any of the fun we have planned while you wait. Joining another class doesn't affect your place on the waitlist and we can easily move your booking over if a space in your preferred class becomes available.
