Want to know what we have planned for Term 2? We'll be taking a trip to Britain and using lots of senses to experience the delights of an English Country Garden, exploring the jungle and meeting lots of animals in our fun filled Jungle Jitters Class and celebrating all the Mumma’s on Mother’s Day with massages, treats and beautiful bonding moments to treasure. Term 2 also includes our incredible Charity event, our sensational Superheroes Class where we raise lots of money for our partner charity, the Miracle Babies Foundation. This is definitely a term not to miss!
Every week at Baby Sensory is different and each class is packed full of fantastic sights, stimulating sounds, tactile experiences, social and cooperative play and incredible bonding moments for you to share with your baby. In addition, you will have the opportunity to connect with other local families and every week our super-knowledgeable and experienced practitioners will share lots of ideas for age-appropriate play that you can try at home with your baby.
When should I join?
Your baby will learn more during their first year than at any other time in their life, so the answer to this FAQ is, 'as soon as you can'. Our classes are designed for babies from birth and so your baby is never too young to join; lots of families start coming to Baby Sensory classes when their babies are just a few weeks old and our classes for babies from birth to six months contain lots of bonding activities, ideas to make tummy time fun and activities to support your baby's visual development.
We also have classes especially for 'older' babies (those aged 7-13 months at the start of term, so 9-15 months by the time term finishes). These classes are generally livelier with lots of opportunities for babies to crawl and explore, enhance their confidence and social skills and develop their fine motor skills.
How do I join a class?
To book your baby's place in a Term 2, 2024 class scroll down to our list of available classes and click the book now button next to your preferred class to enrol your baby in our program.
Term prices differ by location due to terms being of slightly different lengths (Public Holidays and hall availability affect term length). Classes are priced at $25 each and booked as a block. If you are booking mid term the price will automatically adjust to reflect the number of weeks left in the term.
If you're not quite ready to book and would like to find out more about the activities we include in our classes we recommend visiting our Instagram page and looking at the pictures and reels that we have taken in classes across Melbourne.
If your preferred class is fully booked please join the waitlist so that we can notify you if a place becomes available. In order for this to happen another family has to leave the class (which does happen occasionally, just not super often) so we strongly recommend joining another class in the meantime so that you don't miss out on any of the fun we have planned while you wait. Joining another class doesn't affect your place on the waitlist and we can easily move your booking over if a space in your preferred class becomes available.
