Zahra Patel - Owner
Hi my name is Zahra, and I have been part of the Baby Sensory world since 2014.
It all started in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia! An accountant by profession, however after having my first daughter, in 2012, I didn’t want to go back to sitting in an office and work crazy long hours!
I always wanted to get into teaching and working with children and after having our daughter, this desire became even stronger, so when the opportunity came for me to become a Baby Sensory Class Leader I was stoked!
I wasn’t too sure what it was all about but fell in love from the moment I started training!
Two years later we were blessed with our 2nd daughter and I had the privilege of attending the classes as a mummy and loved them even more! Fast forward to 2018, we were blessed with our third daughter and decided it was time to move back to Melbourne.
I wanted to continue my Baby Sensory journey, so I made a few enquiries and am happy to announce that I now run the Baby Sensory classes in the City of Manningham and South Banyule, In 2024 I started classes in Yarra Valley and in 2026 we have expanded to Nillumbik!
My team and I cannot wait to bring the magical world of Baby Sensory to you and your baby!

Hi, I'm Chloe!
I'm a Class Leader here at Baby Sensory, and I feel so lucky to spend my days supporting babies and their grown-ups through the first 13 months.
With a background in developmental psychology and a lifelong passion for early learning, I first discovered Baby Sensory in 2017 after having my first daughter in New Zealand.
I was instantly drawn to the program’s evidence-based approach and sensory-rich experiences, but what I didn’t expect was just how much those weekly sessions would mean to me as a new parent.
From that very first session, I was hooked, and I knew I wanted to share that same sense of wonder and support with other families one day.
Fast forward eight years and two countries later, and here I am, doing just that.
I love facilitating Baby Sensory classes, because as busy parents the opportunity to nurture your baby’s development, while giving you a chance to connect, relax, and create beautiful memories together can be difficult to find.
From bubbles and lights, to baby signing and music, I love watching each little one grow in confidence and curiosity each week.
When I’m not covered in glitter or waving a puppet around, you’ll usually find me behind my camera, exploring the outdoors with my kids, or on the hunt for the closest coffee.
I can’t wait to welcome you and your little one to class soon!
Molly Jeffries
Hi, my name is Molly and I have been with Baby Sensory since early 2023. I was a Primary School Science Teacher for several years before I had my daughter in 2021, and taking her to Baby Sensory was the highlight of each week. When my maternity leave finished, a position as a Class Leader came up and it was the perfect fit! I ran classes in Merri-Bek for over two years before I had my son in mid 2025 (who, of course, also attends Baby Sensory classes). I am so excited to be back running classes, and closer to my home in Greensborough! I love cooking and going for adventures with my kids, you can often find us at Edendale Farm or Eltham Library, or enjoying the water play at the Diamond Creek Adventure Playground. I look forward to meeting you all!
