Classes typically run during the school terms. While terms generally run for 10 weeks, if a public holiday falls on a class day, the term length may be adjusted accordingly. In this event, you will only pay for the specified number of sessions in that term. Similarly, if you join part way through a term, you will only pay for the remaining lessons in that term. Payment can be made by card or via Paypal at the time of booking.

Cost of classes

Classes are $25 each, and the number of classes in a booking will depend on the length of the term. So for example, if you register for a 9 week term, the total cost will be $225.

Payment Plans

We know the cost of living is taking it's toll on everyone at the moment, so in order to keep our classes as accessible as possible we are now offering a split payment option for full term bookings. This option allows families to pay their class fees in 2 instalments; 1 when your booking is made and one at the end of week 2. If you would like to take up this option, please email monash-vic@babysensory.com with your name and preferred class.

Wanting to enrol but a class is full? 

Make sure you go on the wait list as spaces can come up at anytime.  This will also mean you get notifications when new classes or terms are open!

How are we complying with current health and safety guidelines?

To best ensure the safety of everyone at our Baby Sensory classes, the class format will look slightly different to usual:

• Covid Vaccination policy - practitioners are all fully vaccinated, and as a setting for a vulnerable sector of society (unvaccinated babies), it is of the utmost importance that we keep our classes, and everyone attending them, as safe as possible.   
• Maintaining our already extremely high cleaning standards - we will continue to practice exemplary cleaning of all of our equipment between classes and will also be disinfecting high-touch areas of our venues.
• Stay well - we encourage families to stay at home and recover if they show any signs or symptoms of any illness.  Our generous make up options for missed classes can be found in the booking section of the website.
• Class changeover - to ensure appropriate physical distancing and limited contact, we ask that families move to exit the space promptly after their class finishes to allow the next group to arrive for their class, and that families arriving enter the venue no earlier than 5 minutes before the class is scheduled to commence.

What should you expect?

Each week our Baby Sensory classes will enable you and your baby to connect with other local families, share magical moments, and most importantly -  Have Fun!  Your knowledgeable and friendly Baby Sensory Practitioner will take you and your baby on a magical adventure, and every week is different, meaning that each week you will leave class armed with new songs and activities to help entertain your baby and support their development during your time together outside of class.

Each of our classes is specifically designed for babies from birth through to thirteen months and every class is packed with an incredible variety of sounds, smells, sights, textures, music, dance, singing and more - with every activity carefully chosen because it aids your baby's physical, cognitive, social or emotional development.  Plus, because every week is different you can come to classes for an entire year and never experience the same class twice, in a supportive and fun environment where you can meet other parents/carers and have beautiful one on one bonding time with your baby.

As well as being lots of fun, we use an enormous range of resources - from Fibre Optic lights, to musical instruments, floating creatures, to puppets, to parachutes, to projectors, to bubbles and everything imaginable in between - all to support your baby's development and provide you with magical moments to experience together creating memories that will last a lifetime.

The experiences are also suitable for babies with sensory or physical impairments – please give us a call if you have any questions or specific concerns/requirements.

Terms & Conditions

REFUNDS, MISSED CLASSES & EXTRA CHILDREN

• Refunds cannot be given due to change of mind - so please read the timetable carefully before booking.
• Please note that if you miss a class, we cannot offer you a cash refund.
• Each family enrolled are entitled to two make up classes per term if you're absent from any of your classes.
• Make up classes need to be used within the same term of enrollment. As we have over 300 families in our classes, we ask for your flexibility in venue and time if you wish to do a make up class as they are subject to availability. If you cannot attend any of the make up class options we offer - that will result in forfeiting that class you missed. If you also don't attend your make up class as arranged, you will forfeit being able to reschedule.
• As our class theme/content are on rotation each week - if you miss a particular theme/session, it is unlikely you will be booked into a class with the same theme unless it is running at another venue.
• Makeup classes can only be used for legitimate reasons such as illness, or isolating due to COVID. Social events that may clash with our classes do not warrant a make up class. We appreciate your understanding with this, as most classes have wait lists and this isn't fair to families who would like to attend.
• We kindly ask that you notify us by SMS or email if you're going to be absent from your class.         
• We unfortunately cannot have any older children/extra children attend the class with their families due to the health & safety of the babies. It also disrupts the flow of the class.
